The Doze mode included in Android 6.0 Marshmallow version onward makes your smartphone or tablet more energy efficient when idle by turning off sensors and making other services hibernate. This feature, which is included by default, can be customized with the Naptime: Super Doze Mode app.
By default, Doze mode gets activated automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. However, this free app lets you reduce the amount of inactivity time and even assign each type of sensor a specific period before temporarily deactivating. Plus it has an 'aggressive' mode that further limits the number of elements working in the system. Keep in mind, though, that with this mode you don't even get notifications from your active apps.
Naptime: Super Doze Mode is an interesting app for users of Android Marshmallow and up. It takes advantage of a useful functionality that's already integrated in the Google operating system and adds a higher level of customization when it's running.
